The Bicpen is my favorite drawing tool of all times.
I started to draw with it at an early age.
Every line you put on paper is set and can’t be corrected, if you make a mistake you need to include it.

A technique I learned some years ago and started to use as my second go-to drawing and doodle technique.
How does it work?
You start to sketch with the red side and refine with the blue side.

On my 12inch iPad Pro, I use my Ipencil and my main drawingapp Procreate.
I also use Sketchbook pro and Concepts.

Hallo, hello, hola,
I’m Engelbert Bakker, born in the Netherlands and moved to Madrid in December 2012.
Why? It’s simple, I wanted more hours of sun than offered in the Netherlands.
My history is very diverse, I was a teacher, dancer, actor, illustrator, Flash-builder, webdesigner, director, choreographer and worked in several bars, restaurants and shops.
Moving to Madrid and not speaking the language, I needed to change my work. I started working for Dutch departments with big companies, something COMPLETELY different.
I began to miss being creative and started to draw again, my first and true love.

Many, MANY moons ago I designed websites, but things changed a lot and now I’m struggling with this “new” media. Bare with me while I try to create this new website.
The plan is to create a website for all my drawings, with a history page we’re you can find my old drawings.
Until then I try to put all my recent work online, so come back many times and encourage me to work on this site. There’s always Instagram where I post my latest drawings and you can go if you’re impatient.
