Hallo, hello, hola,
I\u2019m Engelbert Bakker, born in the Netherlands and moved to Madrid in December 2012.
Why? It\u2019s simple, I wanted more hours of sun than offered in the Netherlands.
My history is very diverse, I was a teacher, dancer, actor, illustrator, Flash-builder, webdesigner, director, choreographer and worked in several bars, restaurants and shops.
Moving to Madrid and not speaking the language, I needed to change my work. I started working for Dutch departments within big companies, something COMPLETELY different.
I began missing being creative and started to draw again, my first and true love.
Many, MANY moons ago I designed websites, but things changed a lot and now I\u2019m struggling with this “new” media. Bare with me while I try to create this new website.
The plan is to create a website for all my drawings, with a history page we\u2019re you can find my old drawings.
Until then I try to put all my recent work online, so come back many times and encourage me to work on this site. There\u2019s always @engelmadrid at Instagram where I post my latest drawings and you can go if you\u2019re impatient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
